International client service
Funk has been providing clients with international programmes since the 1970s. Our global client service strategy includes both - our own international offices and our network, called The Funk Alliance. We have subsidiaries and branches throughout much of Europe. For coverage purposes in all other countries our own self-controlled broker network The Funk Alliance provides solutions around the globe.
In the focus of servicing our international clients are four criteria: concept, costs, controlling and compliance.
Within our concept, the concrete risk management strategy, technical structuring of the insurance programme, scope of insurance cover and underlying contractual terms are determined. The costs consist of national/international premium and service expenses. All processes related to the programme are subject to regular controlling, which requires uninterrupted communication channels. The compliance requirement ensures that the concept as a whole meets national and international normative standards.
International concepts are designed and coordinated specifically for each client directly by the Key Account Division (KAD) in Hamburg, which is the largest of its kind in Germany whose employees are central contact persons for global corporations and have extensive experience in this field.
As the US market reflects a special importance for a majority of our clients, we are a member of the American broker association, CIAB, the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers.
